Work is good for the soul

I got to be my regular, not in care giving spousal mode self today (Well OK , so I did pack a complete raw lunch for Doug to take with him on his adventures today, but it ended there)I got to straighten up the house, get my tools out, check in with my intuition then offer my services for money and for love, a nice balance. I have heard and now hold three new stories that I hadn't be privy to before the day started. I feel humbled and honored to be the holder of those stories and feel like I know 3 people a lot better than I did this morning. I also got to do some energy work for one person and know that it was exactly what they needed today. I feel so much more alive and happy when I can spend a day like today was spent. I also got to check in with my sweetie who was happily setting up a new computer system for one of his dearest friends. I got to talk to my baby girl and my niece. I also got to pick up about 10 pounds of dog poop, which always makes me feel better, nothing putting getting your shit picked up and properly discarded to give you a sense of accomplishment. Got 4 new library books and 2 new DVDs to watch. So house is clean, work is done, supplies gathered and poop dealt with, all in all an awesome day. now to kick back with some raw, agave sweetened decaf coffee flavored cashew creme iced dessert while checking out a flick on the couch under my snuggly soft purple blanky.
