A new day

Here's to a brand new day, full of possibilities and promise. Up at 5:30AM, kept dreaming about getting up and giving Doug his Procrit shot early so it can work in concert with the other 3 that he has received this week before we shot down the bone marrow again with chemo this morning. Mission accomplished at 6, now trying to shake this lethargy off and to accomplish a small list of tasks before making the trek South to treatment all day. Prayer of gratitude this morning for the chance to do this journey with Doug and with the support of all our friends and family. OK, on my mark get ready, get set and go forward into this new day.
