He's back, maybe not 100% but I will takes the 72% that seems to have shown up. Somewhere around 9PM last night the first minuscule glimpse of the man I know and love showed themselves. I actually had a bit of a flutter yesterday after his lymphatic massage when I caught a peripheral glance of a genuine smile reach his countenance while he was rolling his IV pole back to his seat. This morning the man sitting and sipping his green tea was pleasant, cute and reciprocal, a far cry from the guy who has been inhabiting the house of late. Don't worry, I am not going to take this for granted nor am I expecting it to last, but I am going to enjoy it while it lasts.
Planning and hoping on getting out of the house for a quick errand or two this morning before we have to leave for the center. Library run, dog meds and a bank run to close a couple of accounts are on the agenda, probably will get only one or two of those things done. Also must make a couple of phone calls today from the center to be proactive in my life. Busy, busy, busy.
So thankful for my sweetie, the chance to do this sea change to my life and the energy to think beyond trips to and from the Oasis. I am also rabidly grateful for my kids, my sister and all my friends, they sustain me.
Yay! We'll take it!
