The day was........I don't know, I was going to say uneventful, but that is not true, I met two lovely people from the UK who took an instant like to me. He has advanced tongue and tonsil cancer and was horrified by the prospect of losing most of his neck tissue, the floor of his mouth and having no saliva for the rest of his life. Funny huh? So he and his wife flew from London yesterday and started treatment today. They are both energy workers and somehow recognized me as such. Apparently it is all very hush-hush where they are from and for some reason it is a bit scandalous that she is an awesome healer but that her hubby got sick, interesting concept, but one that has crossed my mind in my own situation. I can imagine that some folks might think it odd when a healer or their loved one gets stricken with some catastrophic illness, and maybe question how that happens. I know very well why Doug got ill and why we are doing this particular journey together now. It is not because we are not both excellent healers, but because we are being graced with the chance to be even better ones and to be of deeper service to our families, friends and future people that cross our paths. It is also a damn good way to polish off nicks and rough edges of our gemstone souls and to bond us more strongly together so that we can continue to build our marriage as a fortress of well being for our selves and others.
I also was asked by several staff members for wellness advice and request for body work. I did get to work on one staff member with CST, we worked together last week and she did well, she was however in incredible pain this morning, sequelae from Brain surgery 2 years ago for arachnoiditis. She responded even deeper and faster from this weeks treatment, she was a delight to work with.
There was a class today called "Wraps and Rolls" looked and smelled very yummy, It was a demo class and I got make and roll a California roll, I am getting the hang of the bamboo wrapping mat.
Doug's iron level was high today so they pulled out the leeches, just kidding, they did do a blood letting, about 120 cc's but they used a syringe, not a leech. Iron feeds cancer so they don't want too much in the system. He continued to feel punky through out the day, but he did drift off for a while, several times today when I checked on him he was resting if not sleeping.
So I had high hopes of going to the library tonight to pick a couple of books to keep me occupied and entertained, but we both just kind of deflated and turned into mooshes as soon as we hit the door. We both had nice hot baths just for the sheer pleasure of it and are now contemplating the bed. Good night, gentle reader
