Week 3

Weekend is over, still no awesome completely revamped raw kitchen, but a few more essentials added to the mix and the dehydrator is set up. We did get to the movies, with fresh made raw organic heritage tomato juice and coconut water snacks to go.We saw the Invention of Lying, very funny. Doug never quite recovered his verve this weekend, despite a couple of good naps and a generally laid back couple of days. We did get a lot of refrigerator viewing in however. Our current fridge has served well, with a few glitches, such as freezing the fruit crisper drawer shut on occasion, but with a new way of eating coming to the house, we both would like a bit more room in the cold box, more energy efficiency and a bottom freezer with french doors. The model we both like will go on sale in the next week. Who knew we would be judging a new appliance by the size of the vegetable crisper drawers.
So a new week of treatment begins today, so far the day has held, moderately massive household damage wreaked by Teddy, he got his claws caught in the patio screen door, (we had it open to let in the fresh cool air of the fall) and ripped up the screen. He just now thought that my tea bag string dangling from my tea was irresistable so he jumped up, grabbed the string, up endded my favorite cup and sent it crashing to the floor. I also just noticed that Franky has a raging eye infection, we had to wrestle him to the ground (an interesting experience when the patient is 110 pounds and much stronger than either of the people ministering to him) and put meds in his right eye. Lets hope that the day improves with age.
